Amazing Food for an Amazing Cause
FoodWorks Ottawa is a social enterprise that works to engages at-risk youth to assist in the development of outstanding food products and services. Our customers benefit from chef prepared, high quality, from-scratch catering and frozen take away meals that are not only delicious, but packed with protein, vitamins and nutrients.
Youth participants are able to gain valuable skills and training, working under the supervision of Chef Tim Stock, gaining real world cooking experience that they can translate into a fulfilling culinary career. All of FoodWorks Ottawa’s proceeds go toward supporting Operation Come Home’s mission of preventing homeless youth from becoming homeless adults.

FoodWorks offers many great services including: catering, prepared frozen meals & dishes available for pick-up in our store, our Lunch Café at Bayview yards and local artisanal shop on Gladstone Ave, with foods and crafts from both FoodWorks and local vendors accross the Ottawa Valley
Bayview Yards Café
FoodWorks offers turn-key catering services including orders from our à la carte menu as well as custom orders done in consultation with our team. We offer a variety of gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options. FoodWorks can cater weddings, conferences, meetings, lunches and so much more. FoodWorks operates the FoodWorks Café located at Bayview Yards, 7 Bayview Station Rd. Serving hot soups, sandwiches, salads, drinks, & more, the FoodWorks café is a great place to stop by for good eats on the go. We're open Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.
FoodWorks features local food & craft vendors from across the
Ottawa valley in our store located at 571 Gladstone Ave. pick-up local dishes as well as our prepared gourmet meals from our store located at 571 Gladstone Ave. open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am - 3:00pm. local next day delivery is available for our products on our Take-Out page.

Our Story
2014
FoodWorks is started as a social enterprise to offer employment opportunities and training to youth creating and delivering prepared meals to seniors and vulnerable populations via bicycle.
2021
FoodWorks moves into it's own storefront to have more space and begins offering take home products.
2016
FoodWorks Moves into Centretown United Church to have more space as it expands and begins to offer catering services
2018
As demand for catering grows, FoodWorks transitions into exclusively offering catering services and purchases a new FoodWorks Van
2022
FoodWorks opens up the 'FoodWorks Cafe' at Bayview Yards offering dine-in and ready-made take-out soup, sandwiches, salads, and more.
FoodWorks was founded in 2014 as a way to offer skills, training, and mentorship to youth accessing services at Operation Come Home who wanted to enter the culinary industry. Beginning by offering meal delivery, FoodWorks expanded to offering catering services in 2016 to allow more opportunities for youth to expand their skill sets and build on their knowledge. In 2021 FoodWorks celebrated the grand opening of our storefront on Gladstone Ave. where customers can purchase take home frozen gourmet meals. We can't wait to see what the future holds for FoodWorks and are excited as we continue to grow following our passion for success.
